Product Details

Crafted from high-quality blue steel, this fry pan is designed to deliver exceptional heat conduction and durability. Its robust construction ensures even cooking at high temperatures, making it perfect for searing, sautéing, and frying. With a natural nonstick patina that develops over time, this fry pan becomes more efficient with each use. Ideal for both professional chefs and home cooks, the Blue Steel Fry Pan is a versatile addition to any kitchen, suitable for all heat sources, including induction.

Key Features:

  • Superior Construction: Made from 1.5mm – 2.0mm Blue Steel, an excellent heat conductor.
  • High Heat Tolerance: Withstands high temperatures on the stovetop and allows for longer preheating.
  • Oven Safe: Up to 200°C.
  • Durable and Easy to Season: Attains its own patina/nonstick properties with use.
  • Metal Safe: Safe for use with metal utensils once seasoned.
  • Versatile Use: Suitable for all heat sources, including induction.
  • Odour Resistant: Does not retain odours due to high-density metal construction.
  • Minimal Care Required: Not advisable for dishwasher use.
  • Gradual Heating: Always heat up and cool down your pan gradually.
  • Protective Handling: Carbon steel handles become hot during cooking; always use a protective mitt or oven glove.

Use & Care:

  • Before First Use: Clean the fry pan with very hot water and wipe dry. Pour 1cm of oil into the pan and heat on medium for 5 minutes or until the oil starts to bubble. Turn off the heat, let the pan cool, and discard the oil. Wipe any excess oil off with a paper towel. Repeat this process one or two more times. The more the pan is used, the better the performance.
  • Maintaining the Pan: To avoid oxidation, wash the pan in hot tap water immediately after use, wipe it dry with a paper towel, and apply a thin layer of oil before storing in a dry place.
