The PYROCAST Skillet is perfect for everyday cooking or bistro-style entertaining. Reliable, long-lasting, and rugged, it's ideal for frying bacon, making gooey cakes, and more. With proper care, this cast iron pan will last a lifetime and become a cherished heirloom.

Key Features:

  • Heavy Duty Construction: Made from durable cast iron.
  • Superior Heat Retention: Ideal for searing, sautéing, and grilling at high temperatures.
  • Versatile Use: Perfect for home cooks, restaurants, or outdoor camping.
  • Wide Compatibility: Suitable for induction, ceramic, electric, gas, grills, or campfires.
  • Pre-Seasoned: Comes with a black patina to prevent rusting and improve performance.
  • Serve in Style: Serve hot, sizzling dishes straight to the table.
  • Improved Performance: Seasoning process started to help prevent sticking.
  • Mess-Free Pouring: Twin curved spouts for drip-free pouring.

Use & Care:

  • Before Cooking: Apply vegetable oil to the cooking surface and pre-heat slowly.
  • Cooking Tips: Use low to medium heat for most applications. A vegetable oil coating is ideal for frying or searing.
  • Avoid Dishwasher: Do not wash in the dishwasher as it will strip the seasoning and cause rust.
  • Cleaning: After cooking, clean with a nylon brush or sponge and hot water. Towel dry immediately and apply a light coating of oil while still warm.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid thermal shock by not putting a hot pan into cold water.
  • Handle Care: Cast iron gets very hot during use; always use oven mitts or pot holders.

Cleaning & Care:

  • Hand Wash Only: Wash by hand with a nylon brush or sponge and hot water. Use a pan scraper for stuck-on bits.
  • Gentle Detergent: You can use a little detergent, but too much may wear away the seasoning.
  • Sticky Situations: For extra sticky situations, simmer a little water for 1 minute, then use the scraper after cooling.
  • Dry Thoroughly: Dry promptly and thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or paper towel.
  • Protect from Rust: Rub with a very light layer of cooking oil while the cookware is still warm. Hang or store in a dry place.
  • Avoid Dishwasher: Do not wash in the dishwasher as it will destroy the seasoning and cause rust.
