After each use, remove the silicone sealing ring from the cover and wash it by hand in warm soapy water.
Never wash the sealing ring in the dishwasher
If food sticks to the sealing ring, do not scrub with abrasives or attempy to scrape the food off using any tools as this could tear the material.
To remove food from the sealing ring, soak it in warm soapy water until the food loosens easily. Once it is clean, allow the sealing ring to air dry.
Before each use and before storing the sealing ring in the cover, apply a thin coating of vegetable oil to the top and bottom of the silicone surface by hand
When storing the pressure cooker, place the sealing ring in the cover and place the cover upside-down on the utensil so that no undue stress is placed on the sealing ring.
Before cooking, ensure the sealing ring is not twisted and it is placed evenly in the groove around the entire circumference of the cover
